Matism Records is a Northern California–based independent label releasing music we believe in across multiple formats including vinyl, CD, cassette and digital.

What began as a small, friend-driven operation solely releasing vinyl has grown into a broader platform working with musicians beyond our immediate circle. Our path has been shaped by where we come from and the people we’ve been fortunate enough to know—friends, collaborators and artists who continue to inspire us. 

We value diversity—not only in sound, but in the artists we work with, the artwork we present and the overall approach to each release.

Our focus is on thoughtful releases, lasting collaborations and giving each project the care it deserves.
